CADEM Celebrates: CA Women Making History Brunch

March is Women’s History Month, and the California Democrats are hosting hosting a brunch with speakers and awards ceremonies at the Sheraton Grand Hotel in downtown Los Angeles, March 25, 11am-2pm. Below is a message from Carolyn Fowler Chair, CADEM Women’s Caucus.

In March, we celebrate the vital role of women in American history. We can draw so much inspiration from the powerful activist women that have paved the way in California. I am proud to take time to commemorate the women who have shaped our society as well as shine light on the women who are working to improve the lives of today’s Californians.

As Chair for the California Democratic Party’s Women’s Caucus my role is to encourage and assist Democratic women candidates who support and embrace democratic values by supplying leadership training, campaign assistance and recruitment of volunteers on key public policy issues. The California Democratic Party Women’s Caucus is made up of over 1000 plus activist women from throughout our state.

This month, my goal is to bring together regional diverse voices with different experiences and backgrounds on women’s issues that we do not get the opportunity to hear. I am pleased to announce that we will get the chance to gather in person at the end of this month—and we’d love to see you there!
