While the CDC on a national level still restricts covid-19 booster shots to those who aren’t high risk, California state officials are pushing for anyone over 18 to get it. However, scheduling to get one via MyTurn.ca or others relevant sites is still confusing, as it asks whether or not you’re in the eligible risk groups. That will be fixed, eventually. Until that’s done, just consider yourself high risk, as California is after all considered high risk for transmission. Note that certain locations, such as CVS or Rite Aid, will be following federal guidelines, so you may get a booster shoot there until the CDC changes their guidelines.
