I love Sierra Nevada Brewing, not just because they have a wide selection of craft beers, but because their company is dedicated to sustainability. Anyways, Sierra Nevada is bringing back their epic Beer Camp event, which has not been hosted since 2019 (due to covid). Today, tickets for the event has just became available to purchase (online only). The event takes place at Chico, California at the aptly named Hop Field Event Space.
The dates are Saturday May 14th and May 15th, starting at 1pm (or 11am if you choose an Early Riser ticket) till 6pm. There will be tons of beer (and other drinks as well, like hard teas and kombucha), good food, and fun. Activities include human foosball (that exists?), keg bowling, rock climbing, archery tag and more. As for transportation, there is a free shuttle (from Downtown Chico), with pickup/drop-off at a transit center near Madison Bear Garden. There is car parking at Silver Dollar fairgrounds, which also has a running shuttle; if you get too drunk, do pick up your car the next day! You could also ride your bike directly to the brewery, in which there is bike valet service (didn’t know that existed either).
