Warriors: Steph Curry injury update as of today

The Golden State Warriors released an official statement, less than two hours ago actually, regarding the injury status of star guard Steph Curry. The late season All-Star break is almost over, and NBA season play resumes tomorrow. Here is the official update verbatim…

Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, who has missed the last five (5) games after suffering partial tears to his superior tibiofibular ligaments and interosseous membrane, as well as a contusion to his left lower leg on February 4 vs. Dallas, was recently re-evaluated. The re-evaluation indicated that Curry is making good progress. He has started various individual on-court workouts, which will continue in the coming days. He will be re-evaluated again in one (1) week.

Curry missed the last five games of the regular season going into All-Star weekend and we now know the Dubs will be without him for the first three games of the final 24 this week. The Los Angeles Lakers, Houston Rockets, and Minnesota Timberwolves are in the cue this week on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday respectively.
